FEES AND TERMS

STANDARD APPRAISAL FEES FOR RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS ARE AS SPECIFIED HEREIN. FEES FOR MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, OR SPECIALTY INSPECTIONS WILL BE QUOTED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS.

Estimate with a site visit - We will provide a repair estimate for claimed damages presented by the insured and/or per the provided documents. The fee for this service is $1,250.00 for Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties. $1,350.00 for Collier, Hendry, and Lee Counties. For information on rates outside these aforementioned Counties please inquire prior to scheduling. Homes greater than 3,500 SF may be subject to additional fees.
Desk review with or without written estimate - We will provide an initial verbal consultation or written estimate based on the presented claimed damages and provided documentation. The fee for this service is $750.00
Additional services
- 3D geospatial scan - we use the iGUIDE 3D tour camera to capture data which is then processed by the iGUIDE Drafting Team to create iGUIDEs that are shared and experienced online. The additional fee for this service is $500.00. Click here for a sample tour

EXPENSES

IF ADDITIONAL EXPERTS ARE NEEDED (ENGINEER, PLUMBER, ROOFER, ELECTRICIAN, ETC.) THEIR FEES AND COSTS WILL BE ADDITIONAL AND BILLED SEPARATELY FROM THE estimate FEE WITH PRIOR NOTICE AND APPROVAL. EXPENSES AND COSTS ADVANCED BY GENERAL ESTIMATING & CONTRACTING, INC. WILL BE MARKED UP BY 15 PERCENT.

IF IT IS REQUIRED TO COORDINATE WITH THE INSURED DIRECTLY FOR a SITE VISIT IT WILL BE VIA TEXT MESSAGING AND/OR EMAIL AND THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $125. IF THE INSURED IS NON-RESPONSIVE TO TEXT OR REQUIRES PHONE CALLS THE ADMINISTRATION FEE WILL BE $350.

EXPENSES FOR EXTENDED TRAVEL (I.E. AIRFARE OR OTHER TRAVEL METHODS, HOTELS, ETC.) ARE USUALLY BILLED ACCORDING TO COSTS AND BILLED ACCORDINGLY IF NECESSARY WITH PRIOR NOTICE/APPROVAL. SOME EXPENSES MAY BE REFERRED DIRECTLY TO THE CLIENT UPON MUTUAL AGREEMENT.

PAYMENT TERMS

PAYMENT SHALL BE DUE THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE an estimate IS PRODUCED. ANY FAILURE TO PAY THE INVOICE WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SAID produced estimate, PAYMENT WILL BE PURSUED THROUGH THE COURTS AND ATTORNEY FEES & COURT COSTS WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE NON-PAYEE.
